Almost better

Hey there friends! Well I've been sick for about 2 weeks now and am hopefully going to be all better soon. My poor little blog has been ignored, but I promise to pay more attention to you next week! Until then, I'm oh so excited that spring is almost here! Or is it here already? It's hard to tell in So Cal.

Second question

You know you think about blogging too much when your husband comes home sick and one of the first things you as him is, "Can I take a picture of you sick for my blog?" If you do that, your husband might shoot a sad stare your direction like this one. Sorry darling. It should have been my second question. We've only been married a little over a year, I'm still learning!

Painting again

Since I wasn't feeling well this weekend I decided I'd try to be productive while I was sitting on the couch, sniffing, and sneezing and annoyed that I was sick yet again. I did managed to get a few little paintings done though! I'm excited to show you them this week and hear what your thoughts are! Do you paint? What type of crafty skill do you possess? Old couple

Phil and I have been married almost a year and we have already turned into an old couple. In October, husband and I thought it would be fun to do a puzzle by Thanksgiving. You know you've become painfully boring when you’re newlyweds and decide that a puzzle would be a blast! Well apparently puzzles take a lot of time to finish. Especially if the entire picture is about 3 different shades of brown. I guess I’m a little like Rainman, because I could honestly sit and work on a puzzle for a few hours and not notice the time has gone by. Phil is more normal than I am and could work on it for about 10 mins before becoming bored. Or before complaining that he was starting to go cross-eyed from staring at the pieces too long. Since I didn't want to work on the puzzle without Phil, it just sat there, collecting dust. Last week when I was as sick as a dog and tired of watching mindless TV, I decided to finish it! Needless to say, we probably won’t be doing another puzzle anytime soon.

This cold has been brutal! Thankfully husband has been taking good care of me. Next week I'll have some New Years resolutions up and hopefully some pics from New Years Eve! Let's hope I'm feeling better by then.

Back to the Grind

I’ve been sick for the past few days with an unpleasant cold. This cold was mean, it kept telling me I was getting better then BAM, sick again. Such a bully. I took a day and a half off work with this cold, which seems pretty lame because it was just a cold. However, this kind of cold was the type that your company practically asks you to leave because your coworkers don’t want you sneezing on them anymore. Since I’m incapable of talking about anything else besides the sickness right now, I’ll spare you. I do have a fun weekend in Santa Barbara ahead of me though, so expect a good non-cold-infested blog for Monday.
